Every spring, the iris farm comes alive with the most magical golden light and rows of blooming color—and it made the perfect backdrop for this beautiful birthday session.

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph so many milestones for this sweet family over the years: from graduations to family portraits, maternity sessions, newborn snuggles, and even big events. Watching their kids grow up in front of my camera is the biggest honor, and this birthday session was no exception.

This teen radiated confidence and joy, and she was an absolute natural in front of the camera. We explored the flower rows, soaked in the evening light, and captured everything from soft portraits to fun mom and daughter moments. She’s growing into such a beautiful young woman, and documenting this season of life for her was so special.
