Best Friend Photos in Woodland’s Zinnia Patch

This best friend session in Woodland’s zinnia patch was such a fun change from my usual maternity, newborn, and family sessions! Three friends, colorful flowers, and the prettiest golden light—I would happily do more sessions like this.

We captured a mix of photos of the girls together and individual portraits throughout the patch. One of the girls brought her little brother along, so we made sure to include him and get a few sweet sibling photos, too.

A local family plants and shares this beautiful space with the community, welcoming visitors to enjoy the flowers and pick a bouquet. After we finished taking photos, the girls got to pick flowers to bring home. Such a sweet way to end the evening!

And the light here? Absolutely gorgeous. The sunshine coming through the trees made the whole patch glow, and I loved how it looked with all the colorful zinnias.
