There is something extra special about photographing a family for the very first time, especially when it is a mom’s first ever photo session with her child.

This fall family session at the Iris Farm in Loomis was exactly that. From the moment we connected, it was clear how much care and thought went into planning this session. We took full advantage of the gorgeous trees at the Iris Farm, and fall truly showed off. The golden leaves, warm tones, and soft light created such a dreamy backdrop. The colors are bold and bright, I absolutely love it. Fall in Northern California can be fleeting, and when it shows up like this, it deserves to be celebrated.
