This family session at the zinnia patch in Woodland had such beautiful evening light! We photographed the whole family together, smaller groupings, and individual portraits before finishing with bouquet picking.

I photograph lots of blended families, and getting different combinations is a normal part of a family session. Please never worry about asking for certain groupings! Whether it’s siblings, one parent with their children, or a photo of just the two of you, we’ll make time for those connections.

A local family plants and shares this beautiful patch with the community, welcoming visitors to pick a bouquet. I love that we could capture their family among the flowers and let everyone choose some blooms to take home afterward.
