Golden Fields and Summer Glow | Ella’s Senior Session

Ella knew exactly what she wanted for her senior session: tall, golden grass glowing in the summer sun. The only problem? We live in California, where those dreamy fields are often mowed down to prevent fires. Thankfully, I checked this spot the day before her shoot, and it was still every bit as beautiful as we hoped for.

Her session was the perfect mix of relaxed and radiant. She brought two of her own dresses that matched the warm, earthy tones of the location so perfectly, and then we added one of my client closet gowns for a little extra magic. That light blue gown against the sunset tones was pure perfection, especially when she hopped on the swing for a few photos that honestly felt straight out of a fairytale.

This evening was one of those sessions that just felt easy. Warm breeze, golden light, and a senior who brought so much sweetness and confidence to every photo. It’s always such an honor capturing this season of life because it goes by so fast, and I love giving families these memories to hold onto.
