Golden Hour Magic | Shelby’s Senior Session in Sacramento

Shelby’s senior session was everything a summer evening should be—dreamy light, open fields, and the kind of glow you only get during golden hour. We spent our time wandering one of my favorite wildflower-covered spots in Sacramento, and Shelby brought all the sunshine with her.

She wore the sweetest pale blue dress that popped perfectly against the soft greens and yellows of the field, and her confidence and laughter made the whole session feel effortless. From twirling through tall grasses to cozying up on the fence line, every moment felt like a little celebration of this huge milestone.

Shelby also brought a more casual look with a classic black top and jeans, which gave the gallery the perfect mix of carefree and timeless. I love when seniors show both sides of their personality—playful and polished—because it helps tell the full story of who they are right now.

This session felt like summer bottled up, and I’m so excited Shelby will have these photos to look back on as she heads into her next adventure.
