Newborn Session in the Roseville Studio | Sacramento Newborn Photographer

There’s something extra special about photographing families as they grow. I first met this sweet family when their oldest was just a newborn, and getting to see them again now with their second baby boy felt like such an honor. It’s one of my favorite parts of this job—being able to capture these little milestones and see how much love has grown in between.

This session took place in my Roseville studio, where I keep things soft, neutral, and timeless. I love creating simple setups that focus on connection and all those tiny newborn details—little toes, squishy cheeks, and the way parents instinctively hold their baby close.

This little guy decided he wasn’t going to miss a thing and stayed awake the entire session, just taking it all in. Even wide awake, he was calm and curious, which made for some really sweet moments. Big brother was full of energy and so proud, and those sibling shots turned out to be some of my favorites.

Sessions like this remind me why I love what I do. Watching families grow and being trusted to document these early memories—it never gets old.
