I photographed her older sister’s senior session a few years ago, so when it was her turn, I was so excited to work with their family again.Getting to be the one to document such an important milestone twice is something I never take for granted.

We met back at one of the prettiest spring locations here in Sacramento, the botanical gardens, and it did not disappoint. With the warm weather this year, everything bloomed so quickly, and we caught it at the perfect time. The flowers, the soft greens, and that golden light filtering through the trees made the entire session feel so dreamy.

And can we talk about her outfits for a second… she absolutely nailed it. Every look was so cute and fit her personality perfectly. From the flowy dresses that moved so beautifully in the light to her college gear that added such a fun and personal touch, everything came together so effortlessly. I always love when seniors bring a mix of outfits like this because it gives their gallery so much variety while still feeling cohesive.

She was such a natural in front of the camera too. So relaxed, so sweet, and just genuinely fun to photograph. Those are always the sessions that feel easy from start to finish, and it really shows in the final images.
