Spring Iris Farm Family Session | Sacramento Family Photographer

As another iris season comes to an end, I'm feeling incredibly grateful for all of the families who trusted me to capture their memories among the blooms this spring.

This beautiful family session was the perfect way to wrap up the season. The evening was filled with gorgeous golden light, vibrant irises, and so many sweet moments between parents and their children.

One of the things I love most about photographing families at the iris farm is the variety. Around every corner there seems to be another beautiful backdrop. From winding garden paths and colorful blooms to open green spaces and vintage details, there is no shortage of beautiful places to explore.

But as beautiful as the flowers are, my favorite part of every session is always the connection. The laughter between siblings, the way parents look at their children, and the little moments that often become the most treasured memories years later.

As a mom myself, I know how quickly children grow and change. One season blends into the next before we realize it. Family photographs allow us to preserve a small piece of that story and revisit it for years to come.

If you've been thinking about updating your family portraits, don't wait for the perfect time. The years pass quickly, and the photos we take today often become some of our most cherished possessions tomorrow.

Thank you to all of the wonderful families who joined me at the iris farm this season. I already can't wait for next spring.

In the meantime, if you're looking for a Sacramento family photographer, I'd love to help you plan a session that feels natural, relaxed, and true to your family.
