This winter senior session at the Davis Arboretum had so much character. We’ve had nonstop fog lately, and instead of fighting it, we leaned all the way in. The soft haze gave everything a classic, old film feel and honestly made the session even more special.

We soaked up the very last of the fall colors, golden leaves, muted greens, and those quiet winter tones that feel calm and timeless. The fog added depth and mood without overpowering anything, and the result feels natural, cinematic, and full of emotion.

On top of that, she was the sweetest girl. Easygoing, kind, and completely herself in front of the camera. These are the sessions I love most. Simple, intentional, and full of personality without forcing anything.

Winter sessions might be underrated, but this one is proof that they can be just as beautiful and meaningful.
