A Sweet Spring Family Session at the Botanical Garden | Sacramento Baby & Family Photographer

There is something so special about getting to watch a family’s story unfold over time, and this one has been such a joy to be a part of 🤍

I first met this sweet family during their maternity session last fall, and now here we are just a few months later with their beautiful baby girl in their arms. Seeing them step into this new season of life so naturally and full of love is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

We met up at one of my favorite botanical gardens here in Sacramento, and it absolutely showed off for us. The blooms were incredible, soft colors everywhere, and the dreamiest light filtering through the trees. It was one of those evenings where everything just felt easy and calm, which is always the goal when little ones are involved.

And let me just say… their daughter is so adorable. The sweetest little expressions, the cutest outfits, and she was so content being snuggled by her parents. We were able to mix in a few different looks, which added so much variety to their gallery without ever feeling rushed. That’s one of the things I love most about sessions like this, we can keep things relaxed and still capture so many beautiful moments.

I always tell my families that these early months go by in a blur, and sessions like this are such a meaningful way to freeze a tiny piece of it. The way she fits perfectly in their arms, the way they look at her, the little in between moments that you don’t even realize are happening… those are the things you’ll want to remember.

It means so much to me when families come back again and again, trusting me to document each chapter. From maternity to newborn to milestones, being your Sacramento baby and family photographer is truly something I don’t take lightly.
