There’s something extra special about photographing a newborn session in the comfort of a family’s own home. This sweet family welcomed me into their space to capture some of their very first memories together, and it could not have been more perfect.

We started with the whole family, keeping things natural and relaxed. I love when parents can just snuggle up with their new baby without worrying about props or backdrops—just genuine connection. From sweet forehead kisses to quiet moments of simply holding their little one close, these images are full of love.

The light pouring in through their windows created such a beautiful, soft glow. We used it to capture both color and black-and-white portraits, highlighting every tiny detail—from the curve of baby’s cheeks to those impossibly small fingers wrapped around mom and dad’s hands.

After family portraits, we moved to baby-only shots. Wrapped in soft neutrals and blush tones, she was so content and peaceful. We photographed her curled up in a heart-shaped prop, snuggled in baskets, and even swaddled on their bed for a simple, cozy feel.
