Folsom Family Session | Twins, Sunshine & Sweet Goodbyes

This sweet family session in Folsom, California, was the final chapter in their baby package—and what a journey it’s been. I’ve had the absolute honor of photographing this beautiful family from the very beginning, starting with their maternity session and following along through all the baby milestones. Watching these twins grow has been such a gift.

As a twin mama myself, I have such a soft spot for photographing other twins. These two definitely kept us on our toes—full of energy, curiosity, and those big toddler personalities. My own twins are preteens now, so spending time with these two was the best reminder of how wonderfully busy this stage can be.

We kept things relaxed and went with the flow, which is always the best approach when you're working with little ones. Especially with babies and toddlers, it’s less about perfectly posed photos and more about capturing those real, in-the-moment expressions. And wow, did they give us some adorable ones!

It’s always bittersweet when a baby plan comes to an end. You spend so much time with these families and watch their babies grow right in front of your lens. Saying goodbye is tough—but I’m so thankful to have been a part of their story.
