From Bump to Baby’s First Birthday at the Davis Arboretum

Wrapping up this baby package with this amazing family was such a bittersweet moment. From their maternity session to newborn snuggles, and now celebrating their little guy turning one—it’s been such a beautiful journey to capture.

We finished up their baby plan at one of my favorite spots, the Davis Arboretum. It’s full of dreamy light, towering trees, and those peaceful, forest vibes that make every photo feel a little magical. Their sweet boy was so curious and full of energy, exploring the trails and soaking in all the sights. Watching him grow from a tiny newborn into this adventurous little toddler has been such an honor.

As a Sacramento maternity and newborn photographer, these baby plans are one of my favorite things to offer. They allow me to build a connection with my families and truly tell the full story—from belly to birthday.
