Golden Hour Senior Session in Roseville, CA | Sacramento Senior Photographer

This senior session was such a dream. She wanted tall, wispy grass and a soft, neutral palette, which has been really popular with my seniors lately. I totally get why. There’s something so timeless and effortless about that look.

Since we’re in California, I always have to double-check locations before sessions because of wildflower fires or sometimes goats being brought in to clear the fields. I actually drove by the night before just to make sure everything still looked perfect, and it did. The golden light, the open field, the soft tones... everything came together beautifully.

She brought two of her own outfits, plus her cap and gown, and then borrowed one of my client closet favorites, the mauve pink gown you see at the end. That last series on the swing (which is part of the location) is always a favorite to finish with. It’s such a fun, dreamy way to wrap up the evening.

This is my second senior session at this Roseville spot this fall, and honestly, it just doesn’t disappoint. Every time, it’s absolutely beautiful.
