There’s just something so special about pregnancy announcement sessions—especially when it’s with a couple as sweet and kind as Shirley and her husband.

We met at one of my favorite spots during peak iris bloom, and the colors did not disappoint. Rows and rows of bright purples, pinks, and yellows made the perfect backdrop against their crisp white outfits. I loved the way the soft white popped among all that color—it was simple, classic, and so striking.

Shirley absolutely glowed. That dreamy golden light filtered through the trees just right, and it felt like the whole setting leaned into their joy. We wandered the gardens, capturing snuggly moments, a few quiet smiles, and of course the sweetest bump holds.
