Sacramento In-Home Newborn Session with the Sweetest Little Guy

I had the honor of photographing this sweet family again—this time welcoming their baby boy! I photographed Mama’s maternity session not long ago, so it was extra special to be invited back to document these early newborn days.

She wanted a relaxed, natural session with simple images and neutral tones—and that’s exactly what we did. We kept things calm and clean, but also made sure to capture a few classic, more traditional poses too. It’s always nice to have a mix.

Newborn sessions are scheduled for the morning when babies are usually their happiest. I know it’s not always easy for tired parents to rally, but I promise—it’s worth it. One day you’ll look back at these sweet, quiet moments and the tiny details you thought you’d never forget, and you’ll be so grateful you fought through the tired.
