Soft Mauves, Sweet Greens & a Wide-Awake Baby Girl

This newborn session was filled with dreamy tones and the softest textures. I absolutely loved the mix of mauve, blush, and sage green we used throughout her setups—it felt so gentle and timeless. These colors photographed beautifully and added a perfect softness to every image.

She gave us a good stretch of awake time at the beginning of her session. I actually love when babies open their eyes and take it all in! If baby is calm and content, we just keep going—and that’s exactly what we did. Her alert expressions were adorable, and once she settled into sleep, we captured those cozy, classic sleepy poses too.

Not every baby sleeps the whole time, and that’s okay. Every session is a little different, and I always make sure we get a gallery full of images that mom and dad will love.
