Sacramento Family Photography Session on a Spring Evening

There are so many beautiful parts of this job, but one of my absolute favorites is getting to watch families grow over the years.

I first photographed this mama when she was pregnant with her oldest little boy. Getting to see her again and meet her newest baby felt incredibly special. Being trusted to document these seasons of life is something I never take for granted.

Sessions like this always remind me why I love what I do so much. These moments pass quickly. Babies grow, toddlers turn into big kids, and before you know it families look completely different than they did just a couple years before. Being able to capture these memories so families can look back on them for years is such an honor.

This session took place during golden hour on one of my favorite bridges. The warm light, the wood tones, and the soft greens surrounding the area make such a beautiful backdrop for family photos. The boys were full of smiles, and watching them interact with their parents made the whole evening feel relaxed and joyful.

Many of my clients start to feel like friends over time. When families invite me back into their lives again and again, it means the world to me. I truly wouldn’t have it any other way.

If you're looking for a Sacramento family photographer, I photograph families, babies, and maternity sessions throughout Sacramento, Roseville, Rocklin, Folsom, Davis, Citrus Heights, Carmichael, Granite Bay, El Dorado Hills, and Fair Oaks. My goal is always to create images that feel natural, timeless, and full of connection.

I would love to help document this season for your family.
