Tiny Toes, Big Love: Beautiful In-Home Newborn Session in Sacramento

Oh my goodness, this sweet little girl was an absolute dream! She seriously made my job so easy by being perfectly sleepy and content the entire time. Some babies just seem to know when it’s picture day and decide to be little angels—she was definitely one of those!

We did this session right in their home, which made everything feel so cozy and relaxed. I love being able to capture families in their own space—it just adds this extra level of comfort, and you can really see it in the photos.

Since it was right around Christmas, we had to take advantage of their gorgeous Christmas tree. We got some of the sweetest shots with those twinkling lights in the background—it added just the right touch of magic. I’m always a sucker for including personal little details like that because it makes the photos even more special.

We mixed in those classic, squishy newborn poses with all those sweet little details—tiny fingers, perfect little toes, and those adorable baby lips. And, of course, we made sure to get plenty of snuggly shots with mom and dad. You can just feel the love pouring out of this new little family.

Sessions like this are why I adore what I do. Every baby is such a little miracle, and being able to freeze this sweet, fleeting time for families—it’s just the best.
