A Simple & Sweet First Birthday Session in the Studio | Roseville Baby Photographer

There is something so special about that first year, and getting to be there for all of it makes it even more meaningful 🤍

I photographed this sweet boy’s mama during her maternity session, then again for his newborn photos, and now here we are celebrating his first birthday. Watching these little ones grow and getting to document each chapter along the way is truly one of my favorite parts of being a baby photographer.

We kept his one year session simple and timeless with a soft white and cream setup at the studio in Roseville. These are always some of my favorite sessions because the focus stays exactly where it should be… on all those sweet little expressions, chubby cheeks, and tiny details that change way too quickly.

He was so happy and curious, taking everything in and giving us the cutest little looks. Those in between moments always end up being my favorites… the ones that feel real and completely true to this stage.

I always recommend keeping first birthday sessions clean and minimal like this. It allows your images to stay timeless and keeps the attention on your baby without any distractions. These are the kinds of photos that will still feel just as special years from now.
