Simple One Year Studio Session in Roseville | Sacramento Baby Photographer

There is something so special about one year sessions that truly let little personalities shine.

This sweet girl’s milestone session was photographed in the beautiful natural light studio I use in Roseville, and it could not have fit this family’s style more perfectly. Mom loves clean, simple setups with natural moments over stiff posing, so we focused on creating a relaxed session where the kids could simply be themselves.

One of my favorite parts of this session was watching the connection between these two siblings. Big brother was so sweet with her the entire time. At one point, we asked him to give her a kiss, and instead he grabbed her entire little face in the most classic big brother way possible. It was absolutely adorable and honestly one of those moments parents will probably remember forever.

For the cake smash portion of the session, we kept everything soft and minimal with a clean white setup and simple pastel details that kept the focus completely on her expressions and personality. She had so much fun exploring her cake, and I love how natural and playful these images turned out.

One thing I especially love about this Roseville studio is the beautiful backlighting throughout the space. It creates such a soft, airy look that works perfectly for milestone and family sessions while keeping everything timeless.
