What are milestone sessions?

Milestone sessions are photo sessions that usually happen around specific times during your babies first couple years of life. As we all know babies grow extremely fast during this time.

Most Popular Milestone Stages To Photograph

Anytime is a good time to photograph your sweet baby but the most common ages are below.

Maternity
Newborn
6 Months
12 Months
18 Months
2 years

Now most of these don't have to happen right at these exact ages but 4-6 weeks around these times are best. The only exception being the newborn session which should happen during the first 3 weeks of baby being born.

Getting A Family Picture During Your Baby's Milestone Session

We can absolutely get a family and even sibling pictures during your milestone session. I actually recommend it! Keep in mind that studio sessions are only held during the week days though so older siblings may be in school.

Getting All The Little Details

I'll admit the details shots are some of my absolute favorite. I love when babies are in the stages of grabbing their little toes. Capturing the small details you love such as the soft curl of their hair, them discovering their hands, or trying to balance them selves. All the little details we forget over the years. The small moments and details are so important to capture. These times are fleeting mama and I promise you'll be so happy you booked your sweet baby a milestone session.
